Welcome to the HNHB LHIN Caregiver Hall of Fame!
HNHB LHIN’s Heroes in the Home Program celebrates and recognizes unpaid caregivers who provide their loved ones with care and support, allowing them to remain at home or safely in their community for as long as possible.
This year, 50 Heroes are being recognized for their tireless efforts and devotion. We often hear our Heroes recipients say, while they appreciate being honoured, they are humbled and feel recognition is not necessary because they are simply caring for their loved ones. The most common response is: "It’s just what you do for the person you love."
The Caregiver Hall of Fame honours those selfless individuals who have agreed to share their unique caregiving journeys.* We encourage you to read these remarkable stories of compassion, resilience, empathy and love. On behalf of the HNHB LHIN, we also express our sincere appreciation to those who took the time to nominate someone as a Hero in the Home. Congratulations to all of our 2019 Heroes in the Home.
